Sorry about that.  Since the oil industry took a swan dive, I started focusing entirely on keeping my job.  Survived the first 3 rounds of layoffs, got hit on the 4th...  Got another job working 12 hours a day for alot less than I am used to, while trying to buy a house.  Got the house and spent a monrh moving, then just recently got a contractor position at my old company.  So havibg two jobs is really going to help fix the financial aspect of my life, but is really going to hamper the free time.<br />

Not sure when I will be able to get into updating technomelon, but I'll try.<br />

After a couple of failed attempts (mugged by a bear and a cave spider) I am finally farther south. I am noticing now though that passive mobs are attacking me on sight.<br />

That is not normal behavior, is it?<br />

I suspect this will make it very difficult to domesticate them.<br />

			<description><![CDATA[So, with Terrafirmacraft 2 in development, and the update to Minecraft 1.9 hanging over my head, I have decided to redo Technofirma from the ground up! Since I am doing this, I'm curious to know what you like/hate about the current version of the pack, what mods you like/hate/ignore/use, and what mods you want to see added in future. This information is useful so I can refine the pack and make it better, keep in mind I do have an idea about how I want Technofirma to be, and can say "no" to any mod/feautre change that I don't agree with (the power of tyranny!).<br />

As of what I know, some of the items in modpacks such as IC2 are unobtainable. The crafting recipes are a major reason. Because I am currently at a boarding school, and I am not able to bring my desktop with me, I am not able to load up the modpack and go through all the needed recipes. I will post an update on which recipes are needed or recommended. May I have a confirmation on that the modpack authors know about this?<br />

			<description><![CDATA[So, currently wool has physics right? which means we're not able to make any sort of decent sails, because they have to be absolutely square, which looks horrible, sails horrible, and just in general, is horrible. is there any possibility that it could be cut from the physics mod? wool is such an expensive material anyways, new players cant build their house out of it. I have a field of 1500 flax currently, and I'm making about 5 wool blocks per harvest, I can assure you, it's not something someone could just make a house out of unless they reeeally tried. sure it would be possible to break the physics stuff with it, but It's making the ships mod completely impractical.]]></description>

I see that a map reset is imminent with the next version (2.16) and while I know that we're still waiting for a mod update before that happens, I just wanted to offer my thoughts on it.  With such a diverse modpack, and the common Terrafirmacraft beginning, it takes a little while to really get a good base going and get to start enjoying some of the more fun 'end game' stuff in the other mods.<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;" class="mycode_b">I love the modpack and I've loved playing on DarkServerUK so far</span>, but it's a bit of a bummer investing time into builds and teamwork to have it wiped in just less than three months. I'm guessing that this map is getting a shorter than average run due to the switch from enviromine to blockphysics, but I don't know. Maybe it is what the players should expect? Anyhow, I'm no stranger to world resets, but this one feels more discouraging than most. <br />

			<description><![CDATA[Looking for help with updating the physics system currently in the pack. I plan on replacing Enviromine with Block physics, a mod that is cooler, and would fix all of the current issues with physics in the pack (ships dropping air blocks, physics being broken on servers, etc.). It is happening something strange in the plantations, to become mature after a while they are dying.<br />

To die seeds are not getting on the floor, they are simply disappearing.<br />

I remember that in previous versions the seeds were attached to the ground in case of death.<br />

How can we not always online is to reap the seeds we will lose with time.<br />

I suggest you change it in the config TFC:<br />
